WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF STUDYING IN QUEENSTOWN?
The benefits of living in Queenstown are the people that live in it and the employment opportunities. The diversity in Queenstown is huge. People from different nationalities and walks of life here are very welcoming and friendly I have NEVER felt like an outsider or outcast because they assist me when I am lost, and they are very kind. As for employment there is always an opening for jobs whether it’s in tourism and hospitality. Although it can be tough to apply for a job during the shoulder season because the number of tourists depend on the demand of staff if there are less tourist, the demand for staff decreases which makes it tough to find a job.

WHAT DO ENJOY THE MOST ABOUT THE GRADATE DIPLOMA IN TOURISM & HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME?
In the Graduate Diploma Programme what I enjoy the most is the newfound knowledge that I am learning from the lecturers. Whether it’s about Management or learning new things about New Zealand. What they teach will help me sooner or later in my career.

HOW DID YOU FIRST FIND OUT ABOUT QRC?
I discovered QRC through my agent also I researched about the location and what QRC is about.
I would like to give a shout out to my agent in the Philippines Stephanie for doing everything in her ability to bring me here in Queenstown, New Zealand. This country is like a whole new world to me and it has helped me discover more about myself and what New Zealand offers to foreign students such as myself.
